Hoppy aroma has a smoky undertone with hints of yeast and caramel. It pours a beautiful sable that is opaque except at the very edges, with a fairly thick light tan head that leaves some good lacing. Flavor has strong coffee, caramel, molasses, unsweet chocolate and toffee notes, as well as a hoppy undertone. Full-bodied texture is quite fizzy and leaves a tingly finish that has hoppy and smoky components, almost like an IPA mixed with a porter. Haarvest this one if you get the chance!
