In 1899, in a time before our time, brewing in the Hasseroeder was done with the permission of Prince of Stolberg-Wernigerode. The special beer was Fuerstenbrau Granat, a garnet, full-bodied, roasted aroma beer at 5.8%. For the 140 year anniversary of the brewery, we serve our fans a beer whose history is closely linked to the brewery. This beer is brewed specially according to the tradition of Prince Stolberg-Wernigerode. Dedicated to the unquenchable thirst and with a historical label!

Clear copper with off-white foam head. Aroma is bit fruity, however taste is nice bitter, some coffee, little caramel. Quite a nice beer, little different taste (Velp 201312)
