Poured a dark maroon color with a thick white head that left almost no lace aroma was very light mostly of spice and some dark fruits. Mouthfeel was also light didn't really coat my pallat flavor was there while you drank it then it was gone very easy to drink taste was a good balance of cinnamon, caramel malts and I believe it ?black cherry?....but all in a a very nice winter beer for beer drinkers on all levels.

Pours out a slight reddish copper color with just a wisp of a head. The aroma is just slight. The mouthfeel is only average. The taste is nothing special. This is okay it's not bad in anyway just average.

Comes out of the tap a clear dark amber with a thick and fine-bubbled buff head. Malty aroma has notes of cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. Flavor has a malty core that supports nutmeg, cinnamon and cloves notes. Texture is firm and fairly fizzy, leaving a spicy and slightly hoppy finish. This one should help get you through the winter.

An ok chestnut colored spiced ale. I appreciate what they're going for. The beers smells ans tastes of winter spices, but i found myself wanting a beer that was a little more hearty and robust.

pours a clear copper tone with golden highlights and a small creamy, beige colored head fades somewhat quickly into a thin cap, collar around the glass. The aroma is overrun with spice, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and some malt characters as well. The taste the spices follow through headlining the flavor profile, but overshadow most other elements of the beer and bit of a metallic twang to it. The mouthfeel is light bodied with average carbonation.

At 5.5%, this is very light for a traditional Winter Warmer. A dark reddish brown pour with a thin tad head. Seasonal spices make up the aromatic accents to go along with sweet malt tones. The flavour is sweet and spicy, in a good way!

A clear copper/amber color with an egg shell colored head that was very large due to an over aggressive pour. Some burnt orange highlights around the bottom of the glass. The head had more than average retention and lacing. A rather robust cinnamon spice note up front. Some gingerbread and nutmeg are mixed in accordingly. I even detected an evergreen type of aroma. Not overpowering, but solid. The taste kind of reminded me of sugar cookies. Picking up the cinnamon and other "Christmas" spices. Seems to fit the season, however they are a bit more faint than I was anticipating. Not bad, just laid back. Medium to medium/thin mouthfeel. Not as dry as I was hoping. Almost watery really. It's smooth and crisp. It's even refreshing in some ways. Didn't leave much on the palate. This is a very easy beer to drink. It's not filling and would be a nice introductory "Christmas" beer. It's ok and I wouldn't turn it down. I do like the fact that it's not over run with over the top spices and flavors as so many Winter Seasonals can be. Just an easy going beer.

Bought this at Kroger - the local grocery store in Salem, VA (the one bennie of livin' in VA - beer in grocery stores). This beer smells great - a tad boozy with hints of nutmeg and cinnamon. The color is reddish brown with a thin yellow/tan head. The flavor isn't harsh - it is smooth and spicy. A very nice beer. A great segue into the holidays!

Best Before 2/10- Got this on clearance sale for fitty cent, so figured was worth the try. Thought it may be cause of the date, but after reading some of the reviews maybe that is just the way the beer is. Balance WAY off to me. I found it too sweet, and almost undrinkable. Had to force myself to finish it and treat it almost like a lambic or fruit beer. The spices or whatever it is wasn't working for me....and I recommend staying away from this one.

Part of the Wintry Mix 12 pk. Nice clear deep amber pour with a medium cream head and good lacing. Spiced aromas of nutmeg, cinnamon, orange peel, clove, tart apple. Taste is warming of winter apple spice cake with a little bite - nice, spicy, warming. Like a mulled spice tea.
