Clear copper with smal white foam ring. Aroma is strong barley, a strong beer. Taste is dominated by alcohol, not too special. Aftertaste is lopng lasting. (Velp 201308)

this was brewed for the german market. good body for a strong beer and fairly easy to drink. average aroma with no overpowering smell of alchohol or sugar. at 7.5% abv, it was suprising that the presence of alcohol is kind of subdued. it tasted very natural unlike those artificially-sweetened strong beer. a slight harsh sourish aftertaste. sampled it straight from the can at room temperature and can feel the burning sting of alcohol as it goes down the throat. i guess it would be pretty tame if well-chilled. neither amazing nor bad.

(5.3%). Golden colour, small bubbly head. Aroma is malty and hoppy. Flavour is malty and hoppy, very wellbalanced beer. It should be this one, though the small percentage difference.

Yes, yet another Trader Joe's Special -- I'm a cheap bastard sometimes, ok? :) But to be honest, I was rather impressed with this Danish Lager. Here's why.

A classic case where this would probably be awful if served from a green bottle (i.e. massive skunkage), but rather interesting from a 500mL can. Decent enough appearence, and my resident nuetral non-beer fan fiance' said that the aroma "just smells like beer", nothing more. But the flavor profile of this -- that's where things get interesting. Quite crisp and almost cleansing in it's presentation, with an almost fruit-like aftertaste. Very refreshing And much more interesting overall than I expected.

I've definately found my "cheap beer for the beach" in this one -- for all those times that I go to beach...! (not!) ;^) Recommended.

Light gold color, large head. A light bodied lager. Mild malts and hops. Smooth taste. Mild flavor. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. Nice mild tasting refreshing beer. Simple taste.

A cheap Danish pale swill lager sold at budget supermarkets. Cheap taste, too. Totally forgettable. The Harboe brewery specializes in cheap lagers, nearly all of them get low ratings and I feel no urge to search most of them out.

Dammit, i want to mow the lawn and drink beer. I must first give respect to the polar bear on the label. Damn are polar bears cool. Not a horribly bad aroma, kind of reminds me of old style or pabst, which do not smell as bad as others. Very sweet beer, this doesnt suck. I could easily do yard work all day and down this. Not saying that its good or anything, but it sucks far less than some american standards. Not much of a taste at all, just like a slight amount of malt, sugar and corn, and mostly water. Which brings me back to the polar bear, damn is he cool.
