Hazy gold yellow color with high white foam head that sticks to glass. Bitter hop taste yet some fruits in background. Dry drink. Aftertaste is interesting mix of some bitter fruit.

Bottled@SBWF2007. Yellowish golden colour with mediumsized white foamy head. Aroma is fruits, some yeast, hops and slight notes of alcohol. Flavour is fruits, alcohol, hops and some slight acidic fruity notes. Big spicyness in the aftertaste.

A slightly less sweet version of a Duvel. Hazy, deep golden color with a creamy head. Mouthfeel is a bit sticky and heavy. Aroma of pear and bannana upon opening and then settles into a nice hoppy aroma with citrus accents. Flavor is sweet to start, like candy sugar, then a nice grapefruit bitterness appears in the finish. Long lasting aftertaste of citrus and flowery hops is my favorite part. Great beer.

Not the King of Belgian (Strong) Pale Ales, but perhaps the Jack..., and definately not The Joker. Either way, this should "suit" you just fine.

Pours with a massive and yet delicate head of foam atop an extremely pale yellow body -- is that foamy Budweiser I see in that glass? But no, for this also comes with a very nice and complex aroma.

An interesting, if not earth-shaking flavor profile, with Saaz in front, and alcohol in the middle and the finish (though not excessively so). Enough malt to balance things a bit, but otherwise a no-show. But this is tasty. If it weren't for the 8.5% ABV, I would say that this could supplant De Konnick as Belgium's default everyday drinking ale. But as it stands now, it's simply yet another servicable and tasty addition to the Court of King Duvel.

Gold color, medium head, Malty, spicy and yeasty, typical of a Belgian. Citrusy. Refreshing and very drinkable. High alcohol (8.5%) not really noticeable. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and dry. Aftertaste is slightly sweet. Nice beer.

hazy pale orange colour, fine dense creamy head and a beautiful lacing, estery and honeyish with spicy and "cellar" notes, fresh, sparkling and bitter, some sugary notes, slightly oily, long bitter honeyish and spicy finish - deeply pleasant, fresh and robust

Very pleasantly drinkable beer. Strong enough ant it could be feeled but flavor is very harmonious and that strength doesn't irritate. Cloudy yellowish color, fresh and pleasantly sweet aroma, nice bitter-sweet taste long lasting sweetish yeasty aftertaste. Perfectly expresed flavor. This beer remembers me very old sort of Lithuanian beer that my dad was drinking when I was just a little boy... Very sentimental. But anyway this beer is very very good. One more Flemish miracle. Gezondheid!

A nice golden champagne color with a few lasers of orange shooting through, not afraid to give some head either. Yeasty, slightly fruit driven aroma. Tastes much the same, Decent brew.

Poured champagne like golden with big with bubbles. Aroma is mostly yeast, with a mild caramel. Full flavored tastes of sweeet honey, malt and licorice. Very nicely masked 8.5% just begs you to drink more. Very nice stuff indeed.
