THis was not a very good beer. I had the opportunity of drinking 40 oz. of this beer. It was hard to take at some points.

Pours clear daffodil with a thick if not long-lasting parchment head. Aroma offers fresh malt - not too bad, only that's it. Flavor has fresh malt with hints of resiny hops and fruit. Texture furnishes fair body and fizz. I don't know what possessed me to buy this, but it isn't as bad as I expected. I've had craft beers that pleased me less.

I just found this on the worst beer list. I remember drinking it thirty years ago. This is what I remember it was cheap, yellow and had a big thick white head and tasted horrible. The best thing about this beer was the really cool cool commercials with the bear and the great jingle.

A friend of mine said he liked it, a low cost beer that is for sure. Not a bad aroma, and taste is not bad either. I have had cheap beer that is awful tasting, this is not bad at all. Was expecting much worse.Light yellow, a good thirst quencer in summer i bet.

Found this in one of those gift/liquor shops on Las Vegas Blvd. Surprised to see it, as I thought it was retired years ago. On special: 2 24-oz cans for $4. Ice cold + cheap = perfect Strip walking beer. Didn't pour it out of the can, but I'm sure it is straw yellow, with the fizzy white head. Flavors are corn and biscuits, exactly as expected. Better than expected, but now that I've had it, I never have to have it again.

pours nice yellow, with a nice head that disappears quickly. Nice taste but does have a slight metallic taste when drinking from cans. Adding a little salt to this beer is a trick i use. must serve ice cold. Love their old 60's and 70's bar signs.

Have heard of it, had never seen it until last night. So I figured I would give it a spin, it's what you expect in flavor aroma, appearance, ect corn, and faint malts, kinda watery. But it's not offensive, and I like it better than the beast, lone star, bud, ect, a higher grade of swill.

Just an aweful aweful beer, I really can't think what it's good for. This is the kind of beer that even drunk college kids won't drink. I've heard it was better 30 years ago, I think these cans are probably hold overs from that time...

I remember this beer when it was bottled in the 60s.....now when I see it, it is always canned. Again, another foul smelling, bland tasting, watery swill that costs almost nothing when purchased in large quantities!

This is just pure old old-school drunk uncle at the cookout beer. While not the nastiest out there, it is without a doubt among the contenders. It's just nasty out there.
