500 ml capped bottle, as a 7.0 % ABv, bottled 30.06.2011, keeps for many years. Poured a hazy burgundy-brown coloured Fruit Lambic with absolutly no foamy head, not a unique micro bubble ! Soft carbonation. No lacing. The aroma is pure fruit lambic with the well-known acidity of the Lambic itself and the acidity of the sour cherries and wildberries, wood and some barnyard notes. The flavour is rich, sourish grainy apples, sourish cherries, red currant and wildberries mixed with sweety candy and caramel notes, spicy tones, cinnamom, wood and dried fruits, almonds. The mouthfeel is acidic with vinous and vinegar notes and woody. This light to medium Fruit Lambic has a long fruity and lingering tart finish, and , not to forget, an unexpected warming effect. An amazing refreshing Fruit Lambic, more complex as the first approach looks like.

bottle purchased at Steins in Nawlins, shared at the Jester King 1st anniversary party .. . pours a deep ruby brown .. medium foam, dies down to a respectable headring .. . cherry skins, merlot brougham, wet wood, and spiked deep cherry juice .. . slick mouth, quite vinous . .. pretty good and tart, just a touch dirty .. . . Oh yeah, thanks for the cool coin Bud it really, what was the rest?

Bottled. Orangeish amber colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is sour wood, tart fruityness as well as some vineous and mild barnyardy notes. Flavour is tart fruits, some wood, mild herbs, some mild yeasty notes as well as mild earthyness. Semidry palate.

500 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 7.5%. Brewed with redcurrants and "tyttebær"/lingonberrries (a kind of wild forest/mountain cranberries) and lambic style yeast. Aged in oak barrels for 18 months. Orange colour, moderate to low off-white head. Strong aroma of tyttebær juice, farmhouse / horseblanket and vinegar. Moderate carbonation. The flavour is sour and lambic-like, but not extreme. The berries come through nicely, funky and oaky notes, not much sweetness. Alcohol is noticeable, but not in a bad way. Refreshing and interesting beer.
