In this classic wheat beer we use our own unique wheat yeast. This is a very refreshing beer with flavours of spice and citrus, a perfect summer beer. (ABV adapted to Norwegian grocery stores sales permit. Not to be confused with the stronger Haandbryggeriet Bavarian Weizen.)

Bottled@Chris O Post GBBF Tasting. Pale yellowish hazy colour with mediumsized creamy white head. Aroma is wheat, hops, yeast and mild notes of citrus fruits. Flavour is quite much he same, but has a bunch of spices added to it. Something between hefeweisse and witbier.

500 ml bottle, bought at Maxi Stormarked, Sandnes. Batch 151. ABV is 4.5%. Cloudy yellow colour, big to moderate white head. Nice and strong yeasty aroma with spicy and herbal notes, hints of citrus. Spritzy mouthfeel, high level of carbonation. The flavour is also spicy, even peppery, but the yeast is a bit too dominant. Still a beer I’ll most likely buy again.
