4-pack, pouring a dark brown colour, clean, with copper-ruby highlights. The nitro head is full creamy, light-beige, with a the famous cascade effect, lasting the whole way down and thick clouds of fluffy lacing on the glass. Getting a big chocolate nose (cacao, chocolate malts) over the expecting coffee. Hints of molasses and roasted malts underneath. The mouthfeel is wet, not really thick, not much stickiness and a touch dry in the finish. A tad coffee in the flavours, but being a 4% beer, fairly mild all-around. The most I am getting from the coffee, is light tart left in the mouth. After breathing a while, seems like the chocolate nose calms down, and some mild coffee roastiness does come out. Overall, a decent light coffee beer with nitro-creaminess.

Even from a can, when they say nitro, they mean nitro! Have a thirsty towel handy because it fizzes like nobody's business. When it settles, it pours opaque coffee with a fine-bubbled Guinness-like tan head. Aroma starts with quality coffee from a meter away, and adds roast malt as you close in. Flavor delivers rich quality coffee, roast malt, earthy and semi-sweet chocolate notes. Texture presents thin body and so-so fizz, but this is the only weakness. A toast to Guinness, and to coffee stouts!
