More flavour than the other Dutch macrobrew lagers, still I'm far from ecstatic. Clearly on the bitter (hoppy) side (too much bitterness for me), some sweetness too. Not as easily drinkable as Dommelsch. I had it on tap (in Holland) as well as can (have sampled the original bottle earlier), it didn't improve much from tap, unlike most beers.

best served from the swing cap and not screw cap bottle and served cold in a tall pilsener glass. the head is about 2 inches with good carbonation after it breathes away. taste is very good if you enjoy a bitterness at end

I was told I didn't know what a good beer was because I had never drank this. So my buddy told me it was his treat to buy. Only thing I found interesting about this beer was the bottle cap. However even that I've seen before oh and he was wrong I do know what a good beer taste like. It's just not Glolsch !

Poured an average size head which leaves quickly enough. Lots of carbonation, ok lacing. Very light golden appearance. Aromas of wheats, grains and light hops. Lightly malted flavours, not much hops present in taste. Light watery mouthfeel. Minimal aftertaste. Not bad.

Pours pale yellow with a small filmy head. The aroma is grain with a touch of hops. The taste is of grain and hops with warm malt, grain, a touch of dank hops, and that sugar cookie dough aftertaste. The mouthfeel is nice and creamy.

Very light yellow color, foam head dissapeares quickly. Smell and taste hop with good bitterness. Some herbs in distance, far away. Average carbonated. (Arnhem 201112)

Overpriced and not good. That said, if you ever get a chance to visit the brewery in Amsterdam it's ton's of fun, a deffinite stop. The other great thing is if you homebrew then you love their bottles, great for bottling up a couple gallons. (worst part is having to drink all the grolsch inside them)

This is one of the well known Dutch produced beers and I think it's also the least good of them. I think it's too bitter too be easily enjoyed. The taste is really heavy where it actually should be fresh and easy to drink. It's definitely not my first choice when I go out.

Nice aroma...golden appearance. Feels nice in the mouth...moderately bubbly. A bit too bitter for my liking. Not really my cup o' tea...still searching...

This used to be the beer to grab when you wanted to get hammered in college. It does taste a bit skunky. It has a bitter bite to it and is best served really cold. Otherwise this beer is average at best.
