Bomber from Central City. Clear pour of dark copper, almost cola-like and more carbonation than expected. Rocky beige head, active and long lasting. Aroma of citrus, hop, and rye. Superior mouthfeel, solid and smooth. Excellent flavour - hoppy bitterness, small bit of pine, and the rye. Most nice.

A deep mahogany-amber colored beer with a big light tan frothy textured head, rising above. There's good hang time on the head. It settles into a nice display of lacing. Rye and citric hops in the nose. Citric hops with the spiciness of rye dominate in the tasting. Slick on the tongue.

12 oz bottle. Pours clear ruby copper red with a huge creamy off white head that retains well and laces the glass.

The aroma is spicy rye, sweet nutty caramel malts, and resiny piney hops. Fades as it sits in the glass.

The flavor is spicy rye and sweet caramel malt with a big resiny, slightly charred hop bitterness. Some plastic notes come out as it sits. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with low carbonation.

Overall, a nice hoppy double red with some rye. Better a little cold, fades as it sits.

A great brew across the board. Looks more like a hoppy red or bArleywine. Smells of rye, spicy earthy hops, light tropical fruit and bread. Flavor much the same. Super hopped yet balanced. Goes down too easy for a beer this size. Best thing about it is how unique it is within the fairly large repertoire of green flash hoppy brews.

Pours a dark and clear coppery-brown, bordering on mahogany with a very thick and fairly persistent buff head. Strong, very hoppy, resiny aroma has a subtle citrus underpinning and a hint of hay, and will just about follow you around the room. Flavor is - HOO HA! Fiercely hoppy, yet scarcely bitter, it sets evergreen, resin and woody notes roaring across your palate like 18-wheelers. Texture is thick, firm, and quite fizzy, leaving a hoppy and citrus finish. Hit the road - but BEFORE you have this.
