In celebration of our beautifully sunny city, this IPA was designed to be a bright as the warmest summer day. Packed with hop flavor and aroma, we double dry hop this beer with equal parts of Mosaic, Citra and Azacca, for an intensely tropical profile reminiscent of tangerine, nectar, papaya, peach, kiwi, and pineapple.

Can. Pours clear solar yellow with a fairly thick and frothy porcelain head. Aroma delivers resiny hops and grapefruit plus a tropical hint. Flavor presents tangy grapefruit, bitter piney hops, and a little tropical fruit and fresh malt. Mouthfeel features OK body but peppy fizz. Come to Sunshine City!

A very bright clear golden colored beer with a small soapy textured whit head rising briefly above. A moderate ringlet is left. Tropical fruitiness in the nose. More of that sweet fruitiness balancing out a faint bready malt and a stronger ascerbic citric hoppiness. Clean finish.

12 oz can. Pours hazy yellow gold with a medium fluffy white head that retains well and leaves little lacing.
The aroma is a bit subdued - some cracker malt with resiny onion hops.
The flavor is a little sweet fruit then a big resiny catty onion hop bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with low carbonation.
Overall, too resiny and onioney for me. -

As with the regular green can IPA, this one grew on me with each sample. This is more of a tropical/white IPA. The fruity flavors add up to a decent amount of sweetness on the palate, yet balanced and offset by a heavy bitter hop ending. A very solid brew, though not one I'd want to drink all the time. Good for mixing it up a bit.
