Pours a slightly hazy medium copper with a small off-white head. Nice lacing and head retention. The aroma of pine and earth along with a fairly strong nuttiness and a little bit of fruit thrown in. The taste is a nice balance between malt and hops. Plenty of piny hop flavor up front that is quickly followed by some nuttiness along with toasted malt. Mouthfeel is quite thick and full.

Took some time to pour this into my glass.Huge white head, light orange colour, very hazy. This has been sitting in the basement for some time and tastes better than I remember.Nicely balanced with a pine and orange peel finish.Medium body and carbonation.Excellent lacing.Hmmm one more or bed.

Not your prototypical IPA, but a very good IPA nonetheless. A copper coloured pour, lightly clouded, nice white cap. Citrusy and spicy aromas dominate the nose. Malt forward flavour with a hoppy kick.

OK. Medium orange, low white head. Mouth is very sweet and sticky. Sort of hoppy, I've certainly enjoyed stronger. Somewhat bitter finish. All in all OK.

This one’s strength is in its unassuming, subtleness. A night orange translucence. Small, foamy textured, off white head is a little disappointing. Not much hang time. But gentle strokes of film on the sides of the glass and thin soapy ringlet are left behind. This is a ligh medium bodied beer. Smoe smoothness and decent carbonation. Nice blending of pine and citrus hops with just the right sweet mash. A thirst quencher.

Poured an orange clear liquid with a beige/tan head...what else would you expect from an IPA? Strong, hopefull hoppy aroma...strong earthy hop flavor. The flavor was an earthy hop flavor...did I mention that the hops tasted earthy? It reminded me of a new brew that I found that has not been rated or added yet (I will add it soon) called No. 3 brewed in Delmar, DE...near Milton, DE which you better Goddamn know is Dogfish Head country biatch!! A good brew, but very earthy!!

12 week old bottle, but it tasted and smelled older. hops are there, bud subdued, making for a balanced (but overly malty for an ipa) brew. pine and biscuity malt on the nose, with a bit of alcohol. works a touch better in the nose than the flavor. reasonably well done, just not my type of ipa. needs more hop presence. i’ll only revisit if i see a month old or less bottle

Color is beautiful clear reddish-brown, not much of a head. Aroma is not strong but has a good hoppy nip to it. Flavor is hoppy with a slight fruity undertone. Aftertaste has some bitterness, what one expects from a well-hopped beer. This is a fine beer to enjoy by itself or with a good meal.

355 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.8%. Deep golden colour, slightly hazy. Big white head. Lovely aroma of American hops, piney and citrussy notes, also hints of blackcurrants. The flavour is very bitter (too bitter) from the first sip, with piney and resinous notes. There is some malty and fruity sweetness, but not enough to balance the bitterness. The long aftertaste is chinine-like and very bitter.
