This porter is made by loading a conventional smoker with malted barley, then stacking it with local mountain mahogany, alder, and cherry wood, to add a delightful smokey character to the malt. Combine it with traditional British hops and a London ale yeast and you get one smooth, smokey, delicious brew.

A nice smoked porter. Not an imperial, so at 6% and a touch thin, the beer threatens to be overmatched by the smoke, but it's not. the smoke is complex and done just to the right level, complimenting the sweet roasty brew. well done.
