Had this from a bottle and from nitro - I prefer the latter. Review is from the nitro version. Taps coffee brown with a thick, Guinness-like tan head. Aroma presents roast malt, coffee and milk chocolate. Flavor offers roast malt, coffee, milk chocolate, earthy, a hint of molasses. Texture brings decent smooth body and peppy fizz. Drink like an outlaw.

A friend brought this back from one of his voyages up north. Thick and sweet, just as it should be. Some roasted graininess (oats?) and dark chocolate. Pours a very dark brown with minimal head/foam. Overall, a very enjoyable, but not very complex, beverage.

On tap. A tasty, but by the books oatmeal stout. Body is jet black, head is a creamy tan color. Aroma is mostly roasted malts and chocolate. Flavor is mostly the same and doesn’t stray very far. Flavor is very smooth and velvety. A nice sessionable stout.

one of the better beers from GB, this is a highly roasted, aromatic (chocolate, espresso), smooth (oats) and tasty oatmeal stout. medium bodied, full flavored. Tap 3.9-4 bottle 3.6-7
