A Great Basin favorite! A crisp, effervescent brew with a generous addition of real raspberries and blackberries, not extracts.

Taps clear raspberry with a fair slightly lilac parchment head. Aroma yields fresh, tart and sweetish raspberry and blackberry plus subtle floral notes. Flavor delivers tart and sweet raspberry, sweetish blackberry, floral hints. Texture presents nice body and peppy fizz. Don't b*tch, have a glass.

On tap. Beautfiul ruby/purplish body, clear with a creamy off-white 1" head. Aroma had a raspberry fruit juice kinda aroma. Flavor was very fruity, sweetness seemed to be integrated well into the beer without being cloying. Refreshing.

"as a foofoo beer, it's actually done well, but this type of "beer" is just not to my liking. wine-coolerish in look and flavor...and aroma. nothing delicate about it. just sweet berry. works when it's over 90 degrees, but even then..." 2/09 - compared to the yummy fruit lambics i've had lately, this just doesn't match up. the chicks seem to like it, but my wife doesn't.
