500 ml capped bottle, the brewer's gift. Poured in the original Huppendorfer Weizen Vase an unfiltered and opaque orange-amber coloured Hefeweizen with a one finger fine and beige foamy head that had a long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Lively carbonation. Poor lacing. The aroma is yeast, intense wheat malts and faint fruity, bananas. The flavour is yeast, wheat malts, grain, caramel notes, spicy notes, gingerbread and pepper, late emerging a honey touch and light fruity, bananas. The mouthfeel is crispy, rund und grainy malts. The texture is watery. This medium bodied H W has a long malty finish. Easy drinkable, I like the spicy touch, gingerbread, in an Oberfränkisches Hefeweizen.
