Clear amber with fluffy white foam head, fading quickly. Aroma is light caramel, so is taste. Bit watery beer. Waiter was surprised I ordered while thay have Heineken and other fine European beers on tap. (Haifa 201406)

Pours a murky light brown color with no head and very light carbonation and no lacing. Fairly light in color for a dark beer! The aroma is of bready malts, dark fruits, sweet fruity malts. The taste is a drop from the aroma which was of grain and bready malts, wheat, sweet fruity malts, and maybe some rye. The mouth feel is light to medium body and moderate carbonation.

Another country added to my beer travels. This one a murky amber colored beer. In that atypical of the pale lager style. Small foamy textured white head that has some hang time. Settles eventually into a moderate sized ringlet. Light bready malt in the nose. Add to that some grassy hops in the tasting. Light bodied. Some creaminess. This isn't all that bad.

Bottle, at local tasting, as Goldstar Dark Lager Beer, kindly shared by our beerpal Olav. ABV is 4.9%. Deep golden to amber colour, moderate white head. "Industrial" moderate lager aroma and flavour, sweetish, with hints of wet cardboard.

Amber colour, small white head. Some malts and hops in aroma. Flavour is water and slight hops along with big diacetyl splash. Quite watery thing, but not that unpleasant.

bronze coloured, nice head and a correct lacing, the smell is like soap, oily mouthfeel and medium-bodied at best, the aftertaste is flat - boaarkk !

sampled at RBSG 04 the label on this said "dark lager", oh well. Maybe ’amber lager’ is a better way to describe the color. that aside, this is just another macro lager. nothing special
