Dark brew, aroma full of cherries and chocolate, plum and spice. The strength shows a little, but it's not hot. Ends up being a tasty blend of fruit spice ad cocoa in equal measures.

I've had this several times now. Both on draught at the brewery and more recently in bottle. Pours a dark, black colour with a huge head. Nose is roasted, taste is roasted, caramel, some chocolate, herbal notes, plum.

From Central City, in a bomber. Brown-black pour under a brief tan head. Bouquet was malt, coffee, dark chocolate. More like a stout, really. Flavour echoed the aroma, although with rather more coffee. Smooth, creamy mouthfeel and even finish. Imperial black saison, well if the brewer says it is, then I guess so. Personally, I'm not sure what this one REALLY is. Not bad drinking, though.
