Wow. This was a flipping awesome brew. Had on tap at Gigantic, one of Portland's newest breweries. Poured a dark brownish somewhat translucent. Nose is smokey but there's a lot more going on beyond the aroma. Taste is rich with roasted malts, smoke is head-on but hops are present throughout. Well balanced brew.
