500 ml capped bottle, bought at the brewery. Poured in the original Geyer Stein glass an unfiltered and strong hazy golden-orange coloured Hefeweizen with a two fingers slightly beige and dense foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Sustained carbonation. Some lacing. The aroma is yeast, wheaty malts, spicy, cloves, fruity, faint bananas and a touch of barnyard. The flavour is wheaty malts, yeast, cereal, a point of caramel, spicy, cloves and fruity, faint bananas. The mouthfeel is light crispy, prickly, sparkling and quite thin. This medium bodied Hefeweizen has a dry malty finish. With more stuff, surely a good Hefeweizen.
