Sampled from a keg. Pour was decent, a medium pale head that left little lacing, atop a nice dark almost purplish color. Overall impression was that it was way too thin. Thin not only for a porter that was trying to do the typical coffee/chocolate/roasted thing, but also because this is a seasonal (winter) brew. Aroma was mostly sweet, chocolate, with a bit of coffee. Taste was weak, leaving 90% of the taste to a light coffee tone with some (felt artifitial) sweetness unatributed to the subtle chocolate tones. The mouthfeel was pretty bad; after about half a second the tange of a coffee aftertaste dominated the palate. Will never get this beer again.
