eh. decently balanced beer with some biscuit malt and light floral hopping. pretty light on the palate, and the aroma. another food beer or summer beer. not worth the trouble otherwise.

On draft at Flag brewing. Pour was golden with some amber hues, mediocre head, no real lacing to speak of. The aroma was strong grains, biscuits, and light fruits (lager crisp? Not really). The flavor followed the aroma, strong grains, biscuits, light fruits, honey, and some adjuncts. Mouthfeel was full for a lager, alcohol was smooth, but the malts were clearly big and a tad sticky for a lager. Like a premium strong lager, if there really is such a thing.

It pours a light amber with thick white head and copious lacing. Aroma of light caramel malts, light hops, bread/yeast, lemon/citrus, and mild spices. The mouthfeel is smooth, yet thin. Flavors of caramel malts, hops, light butterscotch, citrus, bread, and spiciness. Good stuff!

The beer pours out a light amber/golden color with a 1" off-white bubbly head. Aroma is lightly sweetened graham crackers, a bit of bread, and sweet oranges. Flavor has an abundance of veggie character, buttered bread and a hint of fruit. Pretty blah.

Not much in the aroma, appearance, and mouthfeel departments, pretty standard stuff. Flavor was o.k. with grass and malt hints, better than an average lager. Overall it was o.k. worth a try, but nothing to rush out for.

Smells of malt or kashi, like a grainy breakfast cereal. Drank from a bottle, so not sure of the color; appears light. I was very stoked at the taste of this. What a vivid and defined malt taste; and I'm not a fan of malty beers. Had some nice body to it and was very east to demolish a 6er of. Thank you Sexpert from FreeBeerPodcast.com for recommending it

I have had this brewery before and they seem okay but not great so I decided to try this limited release Bock beer. Aroma is sweet and of toffee and burnt caramel with maybe some slight chocolate overtones with even cotton candy or bubblegum. Appearance is a deep burgundy to brown in color with a full head on top that is light-tan in color but dissipates quickly to a very light lacing that adheres to the glass. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied and not bad with caramelized complexity as well as some chewy balance with a palate that is robust. Flavor is of maltiness as well as sweetness with some roasty overtones with an aftertaste that is almost watery with a finish that is wet-like and a bit chewy. Overall, not a bad beer and does have flavor and is better than a Michelob amberbock but this brew isn't the greatest but drinkable and fairly enjoyable.

Aroma is strong, malty and appetizing; there is just a whisper of apple or pear. Color is a nice clear orangy amber with a fairly thick and firm head. The flavor fills the mouth with a sweet but not cloying maltiness and has hints of fruit and hops. Texture is smooth, and aftertaste has a pleasantly hoppy undertone. Satisfying.

A vigorous pour into my 25cl tulip glass produces an initially four-finger thick, frothy, light tan colored head. The beer is a clear, rich amber hue that shows a perfectly clear, brilliant copper hue when held up to the light. The aroma smells of spicy hops and grassy / cracker like malt. It is quite clean overall, with the malt playing perhaps the more prominent role.

Soft, buttery malt flavors & textures are offset a bit by a light carbonation and a spicy hop character that couples with a light bitterness. This has quite a bit more body and malt sweetness than I might have guessed from the fairly muted aroma. The flavors that are here though are not much of a departure from the aromas, they just have the volume turned up a bit more. This is definitely still pretty easy drinking; quite clean, with out a whole lot to contemplate so it is quite easy to quaff. The hops contribute a light spiciness as well as a touch of lemon zest flavors and a bit of grassiness in about that order of intensity too (first being the most).

I am not too sure about this one, it is clearly a well made, very clean Lager, but it just doesn't quite seem able to hold my interest. Purchased: Plaza Liquors, Tucson AZ

had to special order 2 cases to my store, i got to my store and only 1 was left... Is like a slightly fuller FS session... has some good foam, nothing 'overboard' ..("good stuff") .... contains some nice enjoyable flavours but I honestly think it falls a bit short of a 'limited edition batch beer' i mean it is enjoyable , but lacks some star power... flavour is of bittered hops, golding and such and maybe slight honey.... A simple beer with no real frills but seems to do the job... Full sail: i am looking forward to Batch 3 !.. but don't keep this around, you got more in those brains of yours!!..and abv is perfect!!
