Ruddy gold and clear, deep cap leaves lots of lace. Yeasty, musty, bitter aroma-- pepperish. Quite bitter flavor, too, like bread yeast. Dry finish, malt but no balance. Slight metallic tinge. Not dense or sticky, carbonation on the large side.

Acoppery colored beer with a small soapy textured, light tan head with no hang time. There's not much lacing when it settles. Light nose of grassy-citric hops. Some fruit and sugary malt add to the hoppiness in the taste. Light, nearly watery.

A clear copper pour with a decent head and some lacing. Sweet malts, sweet tart fruits and a good dose of hops in the aroma. Taste is smooth and slightly bitter with the sweetness from the malts upfront, some apples and fruitiness and a nice hops bitter finish. Well done.

This was just a solid beer and nothing special. The aroma is sweet with hints of spices. The appearance is bronze to rusty orange in color with a white lacy head that is minimal and discipates quickly. The mouthfeel is spacy and watered down and light-bodied. The flavor is sweet with some spice with not much kick and not bitter at all; it doe not seem to be a very good ESB to me. Overall, not impressive and watered down, however smooth and easy to drink, with no bitter and not so good of an example of this style. When compared to others, this one does not cut it and no where near fuller's ESB.

Comes out of the bottle a clear coppery amber with a decent but not very persistent light tan head. Aroma is mainly malty with a good hoppy undertone and just a hint of apples and yeast. Flavor is malty with a good bitter undertone, not complex but still satisfactory. Texture is fairly smooth and a little fizzy. Not too shabby.

Tasted on tap at Mellow Mushroom, Nashville. This ESB pours a light copper color Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is malty and caramel, with a hint of hops. A medium bodied ESB. Malts are caramel and toffee. Hops are slightly bitter and earthy. At first I was guessing an cross between an amber and a pale ale, an ESB seems about right. Hops are bitter but not aggressively so, and the malts are not overly sweet. Good balance. Nice carbonation. Would make a nice session ale. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter

A copper colored beer with a moderate white head. The aroma is malty with some citrus showing through mainly oranges and a bit of perfume. The flavor starts a bit malty with some caramel flavors. The bitterness begins to show up with some orange and grapefruit flavors. A nice session beer.
