Plain and boring is as good as i can say - the fosters head tap that is supposed to keep the head on the lager seems to add something to it but still nothing on similar lagers

750ml can (3.8% abv - Utah) from Harmons
Pours clear golden with a small white head that dissipates quickly, some lacing. Mild aroma of corn and cereal. Flavor is mild sweetness, corn and grainy
Not bad -

OK, let’s really sit down and rate a beer I’ve drank many times before. I don’t like to rate from memory, I think it’s a little unfair to the macros. I wanted to get a few good beers under my belt before I BMC smack this one. Big familiar 25.4 oz bombing can. I recall this as the new beer from down under when I was a bit younger. Pop the lid for the big beery smell. Even with a controlled pour this yields a big white head. Tons of lacing and the beer has constant beautiful streams rising in there, lovely. Typical pale yellow clear american beer appearance. The aroma is that of a typical lager, yeasty. Taste is absolutely lager-like but there is a mild hop bitterness bite present. I don’t remember this from before, I used to think this was pure and light. Chalk it up to beer tasting experience. Not as gentlemanlike as I would prefer in a lager. This has an almost pilsner flavor about it. Beautiful carbonation streaming in the brew and the carbonation on the tongue is about average. Mild bitterness builds as the session continues. Taste of hops is ever-present. Yes this has more personality than I ever recall. I’m glad this is not a memory rate, it would have not been accurate. I don’t think I could drink many of these in a row, not a session beer even tho it is a pale lager. I have had many other pale lagers that are easier to drink and more enjoyable. Not as bad as king lager and it is more enjoyable than heinie light and yuengling light. Finish is slightly bitter and it lasts for a few moments after the last swallow. Cannot hold a candle to Schmidts, Rolling Rock, Miller Lite or Lionshead.

Golden amber color with white head. Very skunky sweet beer. Taste was bitter and sour with a ordinary malt finish.

OK. Aroma is malty, as is the taste. Neither is complex, just your typical lager taste. Maybe drinking this out of an "oil can" affected the flavor and smell. It is smooth and easy to drink, making it a good party beer.

Pours medium yellow with big white head that smells of strong malt. It is a little watered down but has good solid malt taste. Best served ice cold or it begins to have a corn taste to it.

Pours a piss yellow with massive 5 finger white head. Lightly carbonated. Aroma is fairly malty and watered down. Taste is grainy, that's it. Good god this is pretty bad. Very metallic.

Clear pilsener with some fruits in the distance. Nice bitter, good carbonated. Foam is quickly gone, but taste is lasting. A beer for warm days and swetty bodies.

pours a light yellow, with small white head. Aroma is average with slightly malty. Taste is average with a light hop presence and is a little watery. It's a little over hipped.

It has been 18 months since anybody has reviewed Foster's Lager! After reading a number of the reviews, not much has changed. -- Comes in a big can, neato, pours clear and with a pretty head, neato, thin but refreshing flavor, sort of neato! It remains on the supermarket shelves so "somebody" must be buying.

Foster's is a beer that I enjoy on occasion. This beer has a pale yellow color with a clean aroma. It is crisp on the palate with a faint hoppy taste. Overall, not a bad beer.
