Scott Morrison, winner of the London Homebrewers Guild's 2016 Forest City Beer Bout homebrew competition, was invited to Forked River to brew his American porter on our big brew system. And we're so happy he did! Crimson and Porter is a delicious, dark, and roasty ale that is perfect to settle in with these chilly days. It pours a dark brown to black colour with caramel and coffee notes in the aroma. Those persist in the taste, where a light maltiness carries with it roasted coffee and slight chocolaty flavours. Come on in to the brewery to try it on tap and carry some home with you in available 500mL bottles. And if you see Scott, tell him how much you enjoy it!
