Been cellaring this one for a while, time to try. Pours a dark copper colour, looking like cola with red highlights. The head is huge, huge and stays forever (can I drink this someday ??). Coffee nose with some mild sweetness, roasted malts and dark fruits. When taking control of the head, so it would not overflow, could taste the maple a lot. The taste itself starts off with the roasted grains, the dark fruits and then, the syrup shows up some mild sweetness in the finish, with the coffee notes. Quite good, but does get a little rich after a full bottle !
