Single big bottle from the LCBO without the typical Flying Monkeys box. Pours a clear deep amber colour with a frothy warm head, great retention and lots of sticky-foam lace. Aromas of apples with some alcohol notes and grass. Lots of hops and bitterness for an Impy with such a high alcohol content. Flavours of grassy hops with some citrus zest. Hints of apples. The bitterness seems to get stronger and stronger in the finish. A good Imperial IPA with the alcohol percentage, but the bitterness of a normal IPA. Well done !!

Nice looking copper colour pour. The frothy head sticks around for a while leaving some globs of lacing. Faint sweet aroma of breaded malts and some pine. Flavour is just a touch sweet but the hops still come through. Caramel malt, honey and melon help the sweetness. Pine, lemon, orange peel, bit of pepper and some soap. Sticky syrupy mouthefeel. My favorite ipa related "Flying Monkeys" shit yet. And It's not in a box.

Pours a huge thick frothy beige head and has a clear golden amber appearance. Leaves thick lacing all around. Aromas of tropical fruits, citrus notes, and bready malts. Flavours are mainly strong bitter citrus hops, oranges, sweet and cereal malts. Very good balance of sweetness and bitterness, goes down pretty smoothly. Slick and slightly oily mouthfeel. For a 10%abv impy, hides alcohol perfectly well.
