There is no mystery as to its flavour - it consists of small Morello cherries. This fruity beer excels by its cherry savour, sweetened without saturation, and leaving even a small tone of bitterness in medium and end of palate. It is consumed like all its fruity colleagues, very fresh, and without risk of intoxication given their low alcohol content. The only danger lies in greediness, because it is true that the taste is irresistible and often begs a repetition. Long cherry after-taste.

Not an elite kriek by any stretch, but a nice fruity sweet-tart beers that scratches that itch without breaking the bank (as long as you don't count $ per ounce). Pretty standard for the style, but that's ok.

Quite a good fruit beer. Not surprising though, this brewery turns out all kinds of strange and well made beers. This one is probably one of the most regular of the bunch. Great tart cherry, seems to be sweetened by a really nice malt base. Really great medium body, bit of a belgian syrup quality that shows up in the bottle but not on tap. I think I get a bit of dried apple with some spice, maybe closer to apple cinnamon cherrios (dry), coming in, attributed to the yeast? A really well made beer, I think the low alcohol is cool and well suited to the beer. Really unique among cherry beers as it is not really beery, and not just some soda pop style beverage, and yet not some tough drinking belgian sour or something like that.

Odd looking cloudy red going brown (more red) with a small pink head that goes to a ring but leaves 360 degrees of excellent lacing. The aroma is very strong with the sweet cherry (sort of has a slight medicinal quality to it to go along with my very first impression - which was of cherry Halls lozengers) which is defenetly not a real cherry flavour. There is a dryness and a honey flavour that is reminding me of some meads that I'd had to go along with the scent of almonds. Irregardless I'm sure enjoying the smell. The taste is not as large as the aroma but is still very appealling even if quite sweet. The cherry seems a bit more 'real' now and stays tart and sour with obvious almond qualities. Very tasty. There is another flavour here but I'm baffled at what it might be...next time hopefully. Light medium bodied, a bit spritzy but still smooth...very mouth smacking..finishes with a lengthy soft cherry aftertaste. Better than the more locally known Belle-Vue Kriek.

had to add this.... so, I just finished the Kriek and then I chased it with half a bottle of Sleemans Honey Brown....made it taste like bitter stale dope..so dead on...this might be the worst match up of beers in history.

pours a cloudy dark reddish colour under a little and unregular foam; crisp aroma of cherry marmelade; thin-bodied, basically sweet but some tart acidity makes it fairly drinkable; long sweet and sour, cherryish and moderately dry aftertaste

Man this stuff looks pretty very deep dark red body, and the cap, scratch that for this beer I'll call it a tiara it's so girly looking, the tiara is very bright pink in color. You can smell the cherry scent of this beer from ten feet away; it reminds me of cherry suckers that you got for Halloween. Wow this stuff is cherry pop with a hint of malt flavor, very refreshing taste. The mouth feel is dry and thin with good carbonation. I can't decide if the beer is more sweet or sour I think I'm leaning towards sour. The taste is exactly like cherry Chiclets. Good refreshing beer and in my opinion way better then Belle-Vue Kriek .

Dark brownish red, small head. Aroma is cherry along with almond. Flavour is artificial sweet cherry with some nutty hints. Watery palate. Long cherry aftertaste.
