Pinkish red with red foam head. Raspberry aroma, and likewise strong fruit taste. It is what it is. Bit too sweet for my taste buds. And very expensive too. (Dubai 201410)

from notes: Meh. Never thought I'd score a beer in this style so low, but this was an overlight, over-wheaty (that's a word!) sweet generic mess. Only hints of tartness, not much complexity. Sooooo many better examples.

Enjoyed at a Belgian-style bar in Doha, Qatar. Best before 10/12. One of four Floris tried tonight. Pours a cloudy purple-red colour with a big creamy white-pink head with great retention and some lacing. Fresh raspberry fruit juice smell happens at first, but then, light grain comes out, and then some mild hop (and Belgian yeast). Refreshing mouthfeel with not much stickiness. Mild raspberry taste that is slightly sweet, but with a little sourness. The wheat shows up in the aftertaste and lingers. I love these Floris fruit beers, just wish they had a normal (5%) alcohol content. Not to be confused with regular raspberry lambics.

More garbage with the Floris name on it. LIke a lot of their other products, too much fruit ruins the beer (although I can't say for sure it was good BEFORE the fruit was added). A hazy burgundy colour with a pink head. Tart raspberries dominate both the aroma and flavour - and that's not a good thing.

Bottled@Duvel Cafe, Stockholm. Murky red colour, small white head. Aroma is raspberry and mild wooden notes. Flavour is raspberry, wood and some tragically strong sweetness.

Ahhh ... the tasting of a new Floris beer: what a frightening moment in the life of a beer hunter ! - cloudy dark reddish colour with a big pinky head, deep overwhelming raspberry juice aroma, very sweet, oily with a hint of sourness, the finish is just plain raspberry and more raspberry ... - one-dimensional and without any beer character ... but almost drinkable if you are in a good temper

An extremely fruity beer, as the Floris all are, but this one particularly. I (like most others) havent had great experiences with Floris, and I dont care much for their beers which I find (like most others) to be very artifical and more like 'a distant cousin' of beer. However I personally enjoyed this one very much, Floris' style lent nicely to the rasperry flavour and it was a big standout in their lineup. It was perfect for the hot, sunny summer weather. And enjoy it during that same weather I did! Not too sweet, not the best fruit but tasty!
