This light, sessionable Saison is a great way to welcome Spring to Ottawa. We brewed a base Saison featuring Belgian yeast from Escarpment Labs and gave it a modest dry hop of American Cascade and Czech Saaz. The result is a flavourful, yet very balanced beer that showcases a lovely balance of malt, hops, and yeast. Expect yeast derived bubblegum and clove flavours alongside a nice crackery malt backbone, and hop flavours reminiscent of orange, grapefruit, and grass.

Mildly hazy, lightly-bright golden-yellow colour with a white soapy head, decent stay and some thick foamy lacing. Beautiful aromas of Saison with the citrus notes, hints of bananas and green apples. The taste is milder, with the dry-hopness that creates apples and fresh herbal characteristic. Some decent dryness, but not overly. Quite a nice easy-drinking, light Saison with good hops.
