Sampled on 4/2/2010. This bock pours a medium orange gold color from a .5l swing top bottle. There is very little if any head. The aroma is caramel and bready. A light to medium bodied bock. The malts are caramel, with a bunch of tea. The hops are herbal. Little to no carbonation, one wonders if the swing top leaked some how on this one. A little thin tasting and a touch astringent at the finish. All in all not a very good effort. Mouthfeel is thin. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter and a touch vegetative.

Bottled (from bierkompass.de). Amber colour, mediumsized close to beige colour. Aroma is big on the malts, some raisins as well as mild hops and bready notes. Flavour is quite much the same along with a big fruity tone to it. Interesting thing that actually in colour was quite more to the pale side (according to my scale), but very much tasting like a big time bock (could even have done for a dark doppelbock with this complexity).
