355 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 7.0%. Nearly clear golden colour, moderate white head. Strong aroma of piney and grapefruity hops, a hint of caramel. Smooth mouthfeel. The flavour is heavily hopped, but not overdone. Notes of pine needles, resin, grapefruit and bitter Seville oranges. Sufficient malts to balance.

Clear light amber, off-white lasting, lacing foam head. Hoppy aroma, bitter taste, some floral and citrus notes. A very nice beer overall (Houston 201501)

Golden arrange pour with a medium off white head with plenty of lace. Sweet aroma with floral notes as well. Not quite hoppy enough which was slightly disappointing.

Sampled from bottle. Pours copper with a faint haze an thin head. Citrus, pine and bubblegum aroma. Aggressive bitter flavor dominated by resinous hops. Plenty of toasted caramel malts to round it out. Medium-full body. A fine IPA.

My first from this company, new to Texas. Wow really nice hop aromas very sweet, mango, pineapple, peach, and sweet oranges, no descernable malts, but thats o.k.Nice mid golden body, thin cap that leaves some decent lace. Flavor is mostly mid- bitter grapefruit with the malts making a appearance. Overall its very nice, according to the label i was expecting a more English style IPA. a really nice brew.

Looks really good, nice soapy thick head, very clear yellow to orange color. Aroma is a bit over-sweet, almost like a DIPA, hops do not dominate and that takes away from this for me. Flavor is nice sticky resin, really smooth and a slight burn at the end, love it. Good beer, wish it was easier to come by out here in the mid-west.

R.I.P. Wisconsin Unions, Had this delicious brew right around the recall election. Holy hell is it one bad ass brew. Pours a cloudy orange with an obnoxiously large head. Dank ass nose and herbal flavors. Stinky hop flavors that are hard to get by and incredibly delicious.

From the Texaco station, in Pt Roberts, WA. Poured a somewhat cloudy orange beneath a fluffy white head. Aroma had hops, pine resin, and citrus (grapefruit?). Flavour echoed the aroma, with a bigger grapefruit bite at the finish. Mouthfeel was good and solid. Can't wait to tuck into my Double Jack after trying this one. Also, equally as good on tap.

Higher expectations for this beer based on all the good things I've heard about the brewery. My own fault though for not getting to this when it was fresher (opened 3 months after purchase). Still a decent amount of piney and citrusy hop aroma evident. Strong malt base is evident in the fact that the hop bitterness doesn't overwhelm. Seems to have held up ok after a few months but will have to revisit if I get the chance to try it again fresh.
