It pours a golden, slightly cloudy amber with a thick head, darker than most hefeweissens I have sampled. Aroma is strongly hoppy and has a tingly bite to it. Flavor is richly malty with a touch of hops and citrus hints. There is no thinness or wateriness, just good wheaty flavor. A very pleasant brew. Apparently this is the same as Fire Hydrant Hefeweisen.

This is a pretty good hefeweizen. I saw it in the grocery store and decided I needed to try it. It poured a cloudy yellow/golden color and had a nice fruity smell. It was pretty good overall

Aroma is of lemons and is citrusy and has some grainy overtones to it and maybe some faint spice as well. Appearance is a thick, golden yellow with some hues of peach with a full head on top that is frothy but becomes a light and fuzzy lacing that is white in color and coats the glass. Mouthfeel is light-bodied with some decent complexity and not much balance with a palate that is wet-like but just off a bit. Flavor is grassy, citrusy, lemony, and a bit metallic with and aftertaste that is astringent and a finish that is just not good at all and is way to acidic. Overall, there is no hallmarks of a hefeweizen-style with this beer and at best it is more like an American wheat or something and tastes like this brew was made sloppy; I really thought this would be the best out of the line but is has been the worst so far...don't bother with this one.

Very light yellow gold color, very hazy. Large white foamy head. Aroma is mild, grassy, grainy and fruity. A medium bodied hefeweizen. Malts are fruity and really sweet. Only a touch of banana and clove flavor. Hops are slightly bitter. Light and refreshing. A crisp and clean hefe. Lively carbonated. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
