Admittedly I am not super well versed on my classic sussex porter, being a Canadian and all.... however quite liked this beer. Most of my past porter experience has been with Imperial Porters by american micro breweries. Anyways, heavier than imagined it would be, good backbone of malts exhibited a perculiar subtle trace of bannana. More obvious though is the coffee, fading to carmel flavours. touch of toffee like sweetness, makes the mouth salivate much like a toffee would. Drinks quite easily, well enjoyed.
