If being in one of the coldest places in the US isn't extreme enough, the contents of this beer may very well redefine your commitment to the pursuit of hops. Rockslide IPA is brewed in the 'West Coast' style with aggressive amounts of American hops such as Amarillo, Centennial and Summit hops. You are greeted with a full frontal assault of citrus/grapefruit/pine hop character, followed up with malt to balance the mouthfeel. This beer is all about hops.

Beer No. 3 of my flight of beers at the brewery tap. Deep golden colour, quite clear, white head. Typical West Coast IPA, fairly aggressively hopped in both aroma and flavour, with piney / resinous and grapefruity notes.

Really a top notch IPA and one of my favorites from this weekend. A huge, dense, citrusy/grapefuity aroma with a balanced sweet apple-like sweetness. Bitter hops flavor really shines thru on the flavor with a length and intensity that seemed quite fresh. Sweet malts helps keep things in check and doesn’t really add much other than balance but the hops do really shine thru.

a soft body and a good amounts of fragrant grapefruit/citrus hops in this one, with enough of a malt backbone for decent balance. the finish wasn't quite up to par for whatever reason but the flavor and aroma were quite good.

Tasted on tap at the Northern California Brewers Fest 2008. This IPA pours a medium yellow gold color from the tap. Large sized white foamy head. The aroma is herbal, and floral, with some hints of garlic. A medium bodied IPA. The malts are caramel and sweet. The hops are grapefruity and citrus, some of that summit hop flavor as well. Nice balance. Good carbonation. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
