Clear yellow with white foam head. Aroma is slightly sweet caramel, taste is likewise, bit too sweet very little bitterness. Swiss beer, refreshing though. (Basel 201207)

Bottled. Yellowish golden colour with mediumsized white head. Aroma is bready malts, some grains, paper, mild rubbery notes as well as some mild semiharsh hoppyness. Flavour is sweet and bready malts along with some grassy and saltwatery notes. Mild metallicness as well in the background.

This is my favourite beer from Switzerland. The beer is a beautiful 'lager gold' colour with a thick head that lasts a varying amount of time. The aroma is slightly malty with some sweet tones associated with it. The mouthfeel is light, not watery, but not replete with carbonation like similar North American brew. The taste is amazingly refreshing and it goes down well with roast beef.

Sampled on vacation in Switzerland and did not enjoy. No flavor at all and very little color. Water was much more enjoyable. Not recommended at all. Only marginally better than the Ice brew.
