December 2013: Shared 1 liter can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. Pale golden colour, moderate white head. Moderate sweetish aroma, slightly fruity, a hint of hops - better than feared. Very sweet flavour, warming mouthfeel, some hops in the finish. Could have been worse.

Can: Poured a golden yellow color beer with a quite large frothy pure white head with average retention and no lacing. Aroma of alcoholic phenols with some grossly sweet adjunct. Taste is also dominated by grossly sweetened adjunct with some very apparent alcohol. Body has an oily texture with good carbonation. I wasn't' expected much but this is a lot worse then I had expected with loads of alcohol and adjunct easily detectable -drain pour.

Pours a clear orange/gold with a small off white head that fades quickly. low carbonation. has a slight fruit smell to it, maybe pear, and also hops. Medium mouthfeel with the alcohol warming as you swallow. has a hoppy bitterness to it. the alcohol is apparent and reminds me of a cheap wine. overall an interesting, strong beer.

The beer poured a translucent medium gold with a frothy white head. The aroma is sour grassy malt, and alcohol. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied and mildy carbonated. The taste was heavy on the alcohol, and light on any real malt or hop flavours.

Faxe is not one of my favourite breweries, and this is just another example of why. This is a 10% beer that you drink to get drunk, and not to enjoy (like a Belgian strong ale).

Just a bad drink. Sure it's 10% but if you can't finish the can what is the point. The only time I drank this I dumped out 3/4 of the can. A waste of money and time.

Pours a golden-yellow light colour with a descent white head, and mild lacing. Looks like a plain lager, but retention is pretty good. Smells malty with hints of lemon and honey. For a 10% alc/vol. brew, not much burning or alcohol taste. Mostly corn. Very smooth. Much better beer then Colt 45 and others that are on the market to get people drunk... and that's it.

Yaaaughhhhashuuhhhg...muuuwaaghrg...gakkk/ and YES as long as you ask....I DID pour it down the sink after only 3 "hits"...corn doesn't even taste this bad in "moonshine". Finally there is something worse than a Steelback beer.

Terrible Terrible beer. The aftertaste reminds me of toothpaste. I went from a night of drinking smooth Belgians to drinking this. Its like getting kicked in the ass. Lots of alcahol.
