A German “Export” style lager designed from old family beer records from the 1890s. Fauerbach Export was first brewed with extra malt and hops for that long journey by rail. Export will compete in the broader German /American pilsner group but technically is a Dortmunder/Export style lager.

Pours a golden body with a medium sized white head. Lots of carbonation in this brew. Wheat on the nose, but a little grainy in taste. Medium bodied mouthfeel. I thought it was a pilsner at first, it makes sense thats its a dort.

This Dortmunder-style lager poured a clear golden color with a soft, bubbly, white head. A medium-bodied beer with a light malt nose and good malt/hop balance. The taste is very clean and soft; good malt flavor but not overly sweet, and just the right amount of bitterness from the hops. A sound, mellow, well-balanced beer. If you find too much hops in German Pils and too much malt in Munich Helles, then this beer may be perfect for you.
