This is a farm-to-table beer. It uses grain grown from small farmers in North Carolina, and is malted at the only malting facility in the Southeast, located in Asheville, NC. We use Mt. Hood and Chinook, then dry hop with Chinook for a hopped-up, crisp Rye beer.

Comes out of the growler dark chocolate brown with a thin tan head. Smoky, toasty aroma has a firm rye note and earthy hints. Bold flavor adds chocolate, caramel, and roast coffee tones to the mix - it is on the sweet side, but still quite enjoyable. Mouthfeel is thick and viscous, fairly fizzy; finish is earthy and toasty with caramel and mocha hints. Harvest a crater today!
