This fruited Belgian-style ale was aged in chardonnay barrels followed by a massive addition of sour cherries from the Niagara region. It is more sour than sweet with a great balance of fruit and funk. HOPS: Amarillo, Crystal, Hallertau and Tettnang

After having their Blueberry Pi which was a wild ale, was expecting some sourness as cherry and sour go well together. Nope. Noticed it had multiple hops, but was not expecting hoppiness with the fruit. Hazy red-amber colour with a bigger frothy head, pinkish-amber coloured with decent retention and nice thick foamy lacing. Mild cherry notes, not too sweet, with some orange notes from the hops. The taste is hoppy before fruity. Bitter, fairly dry. Yeah, was not expecting this, but a little better than the Blueberry Pi.
