    330ml bottle -

This beer had all the classic signs of being brewed on the East Coast...except it was brewed in Denmark. The aroma is moderately sweet smelling, almost honeyish or table-sugar sweet. Some orange rind and grapefruit round out the aroma. The fat malt profile leans WAY over towards the barleywine side of the beer spectrum with only a modicum of grapefruit makes an appearance to "balance" it out, which is to say it is unbalanced, to me, in a way that's not what I enjoy in IIPA's. The malts are simply overpowering.

what the cake is up with the name? anyway, a sweet tropical fruit bruiser than has a sh--ton of pine and spruce hops. aggressively bitter but not off putting at all. layered, with an ample sweet malt backbone.

11.2 fl oz capped bottle. Poured an unfiltered light hazy ruby-brown coloured DIPA with a generous two fingers light beige creamy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Great lacing. The aroma is rich, sweety malts, fruity, pineapples, oranges, flowery, roses, spicy, pepper, licorice and a pronounced fruity ( grapefruits ) and piney hops bitterness. The flavour is sweety malts, fruity, pineapples, peaches, apricots, a spicy touch, pepper and a solid piney hoppy bitterness. The mouthfeel is fulled, light sticky and smooth. This full bodied DIPA has a long sweety and hoppy bitter finish and a long warming effect. A nice balance between sweetness and bitterness for this DIPA from Danemark.
