Pours a medium copper with a nice off-white head. Pleasant floral aroma with some malt coming through as well. Very nice flavor - malt, some fruitiness from the hops, with a very nice finish.

The sixer I bought was labeled as the seasonal "Golden Fleece Maibock", which still shows the chunky ram enjoying his mug of beer and bag of chips. I've been able to enjoy a handful of different Maibocks this season and I really enjoy the style, this offering is no exception as it is a wonderful beer all around. Fragrant aroma of sweet biscuity malt and honey. I'm reminded of fresh morning flowers with that crisp bouquet and sweet airy aroma. Bright orange-copper pour with a half inch head and moderate lacing. Quick carbonation showing how vibrant this beer looks. Man o' man the mouth feel is super smooth and silky. Medium body that's amazingly drinkable, the abv isn't even noticed. This is fresh and filling. Massive flavor in this Maibock filled with bready malts, caramel, and a ton of honey. There is a subtle nutty dryness and a sugary sweetness that adds to the overall enjoyment. I really enjoy this style of Bock, and this one is a nicely crafted version.
