    Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 7

Pours a deep sable just a flea’s eyebrow above black with a frothy and fine-bubbled tan head that leaves generous lacing. Aroma has strong woody, nutty, malty, and subtle spicy notes. Flavor has a malty underpinning and nutty, earthy, chocolate, and toffee tones, along with woody, bitter hops. Texture has average weight but plenty of fizz, leaving a woody, earthy finish. A satisfying porter.

Pours a nice dark brown with nice head that takes it time. Aroma is very earthy with a smidge of nuttyness to it. Taste is earthy with grains, Slightly metallic and dry. Aftertaste is linguring dryness with metal. Overall not the best porter I have had. I will pass next time.
