After dinner, one no longer has to make the choice between a cup of coffee or a digestif. This beer combines the exotic spices of Turkish Coffee with the esoteric properties of a Belgian “porter.” Enjoy after dinner with nuts, dried fruit, Middle Eastern-style desserts and of course, chocolate. However, its wonderful at tea time as well, whenever that may be

ale brewed with coffee and cardamom. weird, just like the only other brew i've had from them. it's like their trying to bea west coast version of Dogfish and it just ain't workin...though some of their ales do better on RB than the two i've had. this is another odd combination of aromas and flavors that just don't quite work. pours like a dark brown/lighter porter. aroma of...well...coffee and cardamom spice. mouthfeel a bit thin, but pretty smooth. flavor just doesn't work for me. what may have been a decent porter, or even coffee porter, becomes a muddled mess, and the combo of flavors leaves a slightly unpleasant aftertaste. sawing and a miss.
