Pours clear topaz with a thick and fairly persistent eggshell head. Aroma delivers resiny hops and raw malt, not strong but inviting. Flavor features bold resiny hops, zesty malt, and hints of citrus and tropical fruit. Mouthfeel offers typical body and fizz, smooth and refreshing. Immortal IPA for mortal tastes.

Golden/yellow with a big bubbly head. Little retention but some decent lacing. Mild aroma of lemon and sweet malt. Flavour is grassy, pine and grapefruit. Medium mouthfeel. Decent but nothing special. The floaties might put some people off.

The beer pours a primarily translucent golden-orange colour with a thin off-white head. The aroma is citrusy hops, some grainy malt, some metallic notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. Flavour is definitely leaning towards the hoppy citrusy side with notes of light grapefruit, as well as good grainy malt notes. An easy to drink IPA. -

Bottle: pours a hazed deep gold with little "floaties" suspended in the brew (no charge for the extra protein) .@ finger frothy rich cap, lasts and laces. Moderate carbonation. Aroma is typical PacNW IPA _ citrus, piney, pungent. Flavour follows aroma with a better balance and rounded smoothness than is typical in these IPAs. Good drinker.

Pours a golden-amber colour with a beautiful creamy warm cap, good retention and full thick creamy lace. Lots of particles float around - no filtering here. Not your typical strong piney-grapefruit aromas, but still, hoppy with the sweet malt balancing things. Mild silky-oily mouthfeel. Same different hop for the taste, but the malt is not as sweet as the nose gives out to be. Slightly on the fruit side and caramel. Not too dry, and the bitterness is nice in the finish. Not as hoppy as most American IPA, but a nice warming one. Quite enjoyable.

Hazy golden-orange with a slim to moderate white head and some phenomenal lacing throughout. Bold citrus/resin aroma with a well-balanced flavor indicative of some of the finest IPAs that I've sampled. Just enough malt back to keep it all together. Tasty!

This was a gift from my old pal slowrunner. THanks mate! Pours a cloudy golden colour with a substantially frothy top. Nose has some herbal notes, medium hoppage, mild grassiness. It's a little more biscuity but balanced. Great beer.

The Immortal IPA -- long live Elysian -- a great brewery in Washington State. Medium duty in the hoppy line, hints of caramel and sweetness, some pronounced malty goodness. All in all a good tasty treat

It pours a light amber with a thin white head and copious lacing. An aroma of caramel malts, hops, grass and pine, citrus, bitterness, and light spice. The mouthfeel is smooth, thick, and rich. Flavors of caramel malts, hops, grapefruit, bitterness, butterscotch, and light spice. Tasty and very smooth IPA!!

22oz bottle, best by 12/5/10 (but received for Christmas). Pours a hazy yellow gold with a small bubbly white head that quickly diminishes to a thin film that leaves some lacing.
The aroma is sweet bready malts, grains and a little melon and a touch of sulfur.
The flavor is some sweet grainy malts and sugary melon with a medium tarry bitter finish. The mouthfeel was medium bodied and watery.
Overall, this may have suffered a little from age, but I've had it fresh too and not been impressed.
