Castle Pale Ale, Great Western C-15 and DextraPils malts give this full-bodied IPA its light amber hue and its serious alcohol kick, while a continuous series of additions of Chinook, Citra and Amarillo hops procide a balancing hop bitterness, flavor and aroma profile.

Taps clear straw yellow with a thick eggshell head. Aroma features good hop character supported by citrus and malty tones. Flavor nicely echoes the aroma, maybe not out of this world but definitely enjoyable. Mouthfeel offers good body and sassy fizz. Space out!

Solid in the nose balanced pine and citrus . slightly fogged medium gold body topped by a moderate white head with good lace. Mouth is medium and slick perhaps a bit creamy with subtle carbonation . flavor profile is a hop heads delight. Good sweet malt balance to the predominating citra with alcohol present and warming. Bitter and clean in the finish.

Very easy drinking, full flavoured beer. Clear light golden colour with a medium white head that leaves masses of lacing. Smooth and full bodied. Sweet malt and earthy aroma. Flavour is a good balance between a background of sweet malt, lemon, grapefruit and pine. Also has a slightly herbal flavour. Quite impressed. I’m sure this will rank higher in style after more reviews.

Bomber from Central City. Cloudy gold pour under a rocky white head. Good aroma with this one: hops, citrus, only a suggestion of pine, and tropical fruit. Above average mouthfeel. Good bitterness to the flavour, almost tart/sour, plus some of the tropical fruit notes. Near sour finish. Interesting beer (in a good way).

Seemed mellow in comparison to the double we had before, but this is actually a fairly aggressive (but still well balanced) iPa. Solid citrus nose, orange peel and grapefruit with a little pine sap in the finish. Easy drinking but full of flavor and a good nose.

One of my favorites from OBF. At a beer fest you don always remember everything you had or even want to for that matter. But after 4 days at this fest, I kept revisiting favorites in different moments of semi-sobriety. Pours a lightly clouded amber. Modest head. Stanky nose and well integrated hops on the palate. Really awesome brew from this brewery I'm still exploring.
