Bottled (1995 vintage). Hazy dark brown colour with big white head. Aroma of plum and raisins as well as a weak sting of alcohol. Flavour is smooth and balanced, plum yeast some hops. A bit papery mouthfeel. Alcohol not at all in the flavour. A bit mouly and grassy in the aftertaste. Wellaged.

Poured an amber color, good size head. Aroma was of lemon and other citrus some spices in there. Flavor was sour lemons and oranges finished with a hoppy bitterness Nice summer beer.

Amber color, nice generous initial head, retention only mediocre, lacing moderate. The aroma was citrus and spices. The flavor was citrus sour notes, light watery flavors, followed by a firm hop finish of bitterness, noble hopping not a lot of flavors, touch of pepper in the finish. Mouthfeel was moderate for the style, crisp ale finish. Overall an enjoyable beer, reminding me of the Bison Farmhouse Ale, just not as much depth. Decent stuff.
