Pours a darker amber/reddish color with nice medium sized off-white head. The aroma is bready and malty, touches of caramel, yeast, and a hint of spice. The taste is actually quite sweet, burnt sugar. It almost drinks a little 'hot' for a 5.9% ABV. Caramel malts permeate. The mouth feel is very full mouth feel, full carbonation.

And not a much better offering from Elevator, a classic Oktoberfest that provides a nice example of the style. Toasted seeds, baked goods, and a kiss of floral hops. Vibrant copper~brown with a thick tan head and heavy lacing. Malty, medium bodied, balanced and delicious. Nutty, sweet and tasty.
