Gotta love how they serve it at Thinking Man - in a ceramic mug, almost a stein. Or does this qualify? Pours clear golden with a nice ivory head. Aroma is crisp, malty, fruity, and strong for a pils. Crisp, malty flavor has pear, apple and hoppy notes - an enjoyable brew. Mouthfeel features firm body and firm, persistent fizz. Prost!

Clear golden color with a medium white head. Can smell straw, grains, malt and a light floral note... Nice carbonation and a light texture and body. A short bitter hop note with a light grainy taste to it. Finishes quickly and is refreshing.

Light gold body with a white head, of course. Some lacing, and that's always good to see. Rather balanced malt and hop aroma, yet fresher and cleaner than other German Pilseners I've had as of late. The initial flavor is a balanced combination of malts and hops, but the hops seem to quickly take over and prevail through the finish. Mouthfeel is fitting for the style; carbonation is lively, and there's a dryness in the end. This truly is a good Pilsener, and I could only imagine it being that much better on tap in Germany.

Bottled@SBWF2007. Yellow colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is grass, hay, some malts and slight saltyness. Flavour is saltyness, malts, hops and some earthy hints.

clear golden colour with a little head but no lace, strong herbal aroma, quite full-bodied and sweet with a long dry bitterness - clean and pleasant

This poured a light golden color. There was a head that diminished quickly into a thin line of lace around the edge of the glass. There was a faint skunky smell when first opened. The taste was smooth enough and not bad.

I am a real fan of the German Pils...this was one of my favorites. Smooth taste, well carbonated, lightly hopped, but but still noticable.

This is a decent pils - lovely hoppy aroma (Saazer and Hallertau?), distinct but not unpleasant bitterness in the flavour (and I'm not a fanatical "hophead"), aftertaste OK. Very refreshing. I'm sure it's even better on tap. Recommended!

Typical German Pilsener beer. Slightly sweet, decent amount of hops, very pale golden color. The beer was slightly skunked, I'm sure the review would be better if the beer had of been in better condition.
